it does the job of resealing, it is good for camping, but not for long storage items.
the bag thickness and material makes a difference of how it seals.
like the package says, do not touch the heating pad.
neat little device. I have one at work and one at home. If I went camping I would use it to seal up the chips and such not.

i had the euroseal and they all work the same. don't know what type of problems anyone has been having, but i haven't had any problems. works the way it should and it doesn't use up the batteries unless it's being used. it's a pressure switch, so having the brown plastic go over the heating mech. stops it from accidentally heating up.Customer Review: Good Product

I went into this product with a slight judgement. I read that many of the consumers didn't really care for it and it didn't work. But i thought that for the price i would try it. I've come to love it. It works well for me on many different types of plastic. All you have to do is READ THE DIRECTIONS on how to use it.Customer Review: Works Decent

Get a lot of conversation talk about this and how the bags are sealed. It seals pretty well, I just have to make sure it's completely sealed. Sometimes its hard to get the edges sealed right so no air leaks out, but I do recommend this. :)Customer Review: Did not work at all

The price is right, it should do exactly what I'm looking for, but neither of the two worked at all after we added batteries: they didn't heat one little bit. Nothing melted even a little.
