Customer Review: terrific but...

I love my iRobot Roomba. It definitely saves bending and vacuuming. Also it's small size is perfect for my studio apartment with little storage space.
However, one must be diligent in cleaning it out after use. I suggest cleaning after every use. If full, vacuum does not pick up. When full, it leaves large dust piles or just moves them around. Small dustbin. and rather elaborate cleaning out process. Also, this model does not have a scheduling device. But since the clean out has to be done with mostly every use, it requires personal attention anyhow. Also, the suction is not particularly strong and certain rugs are not well cleaned. I had to scrub the border of a runner to get out extra dust balls left there. One nice thing, it is very low, and cleans under the bed well, something that is usually hard to get all the way.
Conclusion: Mostly good. It is worth a lot to not have to vacuum. I dust first so everything goes to the floor, put up the chairs onto tables, pick up any clutter from the floor to give it as clear a run as possible, set the room dividers, (included) and let it go. It makes cute little sounds when starting and stopping and docks itself which is wonderful. I keep it under the bed.
