Finally a great shaker for protein drinks that doesn't leak!
Simply because they have the top screw inside the body instead of screwing around the outside like other leaky shakers. Why can't they all do that?
It is all plastic construction just like other shakers but feels pretty solid. I have nothing I could complain about.

When you first get it, it doesn't appear to leak.
But eventually (after about a few weeks) it does.
The one redeeming quality is that it is wide enough to fit a hand blender in if you need to whip something up.
Other than that, I highly recommend the Blender Bottle as an alternative. It definitely does not leak.

I bought two of these shakers. I don't have a problem with leaking or cleanup, they are excellent. My problem is with the flip top cap construction. The round insert that allows it to pivot up and down when you flip the top up cracked in about 10 days. It still works but I must hold it down when I shake so it does not come off.Customer Review: Liquid from cap will drip on your face or shirt

This works OK for mixing protein powders, but after shaking the mixture, there will be liquid in the cap. When you try to drink from the spout, some of the liquid from the cap will inevitable drip on your face or shirt. I've actually used a Starbucks coffee tumbler as a protein shaker, and I prefer it to this Zyliss shaker.Customer Review: Toxic

Yeah, I thought this would be cool too. But it smelled toxic. Strong chemical smell inside. It also leaked for me, too. Maybe will give one more try... but mostly it sucks.
Not as good as my other Zyliss product- Bottle opener- works great.
I usually love Zyliss.
