It is tricky to close it correctly and even after a lot of practice the shaker isn't closed tight enough and leaks, but its fine as a shaker.
I didn't think of the remaining few drops of liquid leaking from under the lid as a big deal when I read reviews before buying the shaker, but it is a little annoying. The chocolate protein shake I use it for almost always drips on my shirt or face from the lid and its a small hole in the lid and it is hard to wipe it off with your finger or lick it after shaking your drink and opening the lid to drink it.

I was a little unsure after reading some of the reviews on this shaker, but it looked better that most. I have had 0 leaks with it after using it for 3 weeks or so, every day. The "pop-cap" snaps tight and the lid seals well. Be mindful, there is an O-ring on the lid that, if removed, could result in leaking. This may be why some experienced issues. This shaker works well for me, and the seal is tight, does not leak. The only problem I have is with the drink spout. If I shake my drink, then open the spout and take a drink, sometimes there's some liquid in the top of the spout lid and it's dripped onto my face a few times while taking a drink. It doesn't really bother me, but I thought I'd just mention that!Customer Review: Poorly designed

I regret buying this shaker bottle because it is so poorly designed that when you take a drink, the flip top lid has an indentation that retains a small amount of the liquid, which then pours onto your face or clothing when you turn the bottle over to drink. The flip top also flips onto your face when you drink from it.Customer Review: Useful.

This item does the job. I don't like that the spout cover cannot be removed and that liquids stay in the spout cover and drip out while you drink the beverage. The plastic feels cheap, but so far is holding up.
All-in-all, passable.
