Customer Review: My First Salad Spinner
Summary: 4 Stars
Having used this salad spinner for a month, I feel ready to give it a proper review. This is not the first salad spinner I've ever used, but the first I've purchased for myself.
Pros: What I Like
- The color/aesthetics
- The size
- String-pull method
- Large size- It fits a full head of romaine lettuce (and then some)
Cons: What I Don't Like
- When I first got the device, the top was in two pieces (the string-pull top and an inner top that hooked to the basket to spin it). I didn't know that The two top pieces were actually supposed to click together and stay that way. For the first two weeks I used it by putting the inner-top-piece on first, then trying to line it up with the outer-top-piece. But after I figured that out, it is MUCH better.
I can see how the pulley-method salad spinners can break easily, but I have used mine vigorously without any incident. But, I am treating it well and taking good care of it. So I hope it will last me a long time.
