This is a super grater. My husband went to a fancy store and bought me a NEW upgraded Grater. Unfortunatly it was not my Zyliss I had used for years with out a problem, and it was so large I could not hold it and grate at the same time. I have smaller hands and this works perfectly for me. My husband admitted he was happy I had found it on Amazon, as he was pleased with it also.Customer Review: Just what I wanted

We use a lot of Parmesan cheese both in cooking and over dishes and always wanted one of those graters that they use in restaurants. This grater works great with Parmesan cheese, is easy to clean and meets all my expectations at a very reasonable price. Seems pretty durable but only time will tell if it is. Don't think we'll ever buy grated parmesan in a bag again.Customer Review: It's Greater !!

Feels much more solid when using it (squeezing it tightly to crush the cheesy delights within the wheel of death) than the previous implement I had (which disintegrated in the middle of a romano preparation).
Though it does only provide one size of grating, I found it handy to have another (or more) graters with different size grating abilities...

Even cheeses like cheddar are too soft for this grater. The shredded cheese just mushes together inside the drum, and it is difficult to get out! If you try to use something to get the shredded cheese out, it just makes it even clumpier, and then it is hard to clean. It works pretty well for parmesean cheese, but I wouldn't definitely not buy this grater again.Customer Review: hold it right!... ant is great

Easy to use, left or right; sturdy, compact and work great with Parmesan and other cheeses. My 9y old tried to use it holding the lower bar and not the two upper one, easy mistake; after correcting this also my 6y old can decide how much parmigiano he needs on the pasta. I bought to replace a similar product, but this is a great improvement.
