The design of these knives follows the principle of "aesthetics through reduction," the hallmark of the acclaimed designer Matteo Thun. During the SIGMAFORGE process, the knife is precision forged from one single piece, allowing for the slim wedge-shaped blade with a thin edge and a broad back. The wedge shape makes it extremely easy to use the knife with the professional rocking motion. The new bolster shape allows the edge to be sharpened in full from the tip to the end of the blade, so the whole length of the blade can be used for cutting and chopping.The new curved shape of the bolster also improves safe and precise handling of the knife. It is the first knife to support the professional grip perfectly with thumb and index finger on the blade. The dynamic handle design with rounded edges is extremely ergonomic. It also balances the knife perfectly, resulting in safe, flexible and tireless handling of the knives. Traditional three-rivet-design with full tang, edgeless without joints.
