Customer Review: Nifty Way to Enlightenment

The XtraFlex is well named and was intended to be a multi purpose gift for the holidays;
part book reading light, part night light and especially a specialty light to allow my friend to examine close cosmetic details and dental polishing on some stubbornly stained teeth.
That was a tall order to manage all of these tasks, but the XtraFlex took them all in stride and provided a brilliant bit of portable light...easy to use, easy to clip to almost any surface without hopping off on its own creative whim, and best of all, a neck more graceful and flexible than that of a swan or giraffe!
My one niggle was the usual for so many of today's battery operated products...the battery compartment, its hatch, and the oh so faint markings within that indicate battery polarity.
If I had already succeeded in the installation of batteries, I could have used the great flex
light to shine upon its own innards and easily revealed the battery orientation -- however
that was both paradoxical and impossible. What it does suggest however, is that this is
an otherwise outstanding product, and the one gleaming improvement that could make it really brilliant would be to make it a rechargeable product with a built in Ni-Cad pack,
and then some sort of plug in power adapter block -- I would have gladly paid a bit more for this enhancement. But for those with no such battery mounting hurdles to leap, I can whole heartedly recommend this great little product-- it will light up your life!
