Customer Review: I'm a happy camper with this product, and it didn't cost too much

I don't know about you, but I hate having stuff all over my kitchen countertops! Seriously, I don't know why some people want to leave various pieces of kitchen equipment out on display. I like a place for everything, and everything in its place, so my house remains clean and tidy. Clutter and I don't get along. I have a few items, like my big KitchenAid stand mixer, sitting on my countertops because they get used frequently and I don't have anywhere else to store them... but most things are neatly stored in cabinets, drawers, and a walk-in pantry. Life's easier for me this way.
I bought this so I could store my cutlery in a drawer instead of in a wooden block on the countertop. It does what it's supposed to do and it fits my kitchen drawer with room to spare. I'm keeping my original Wusthof wooden storage block in case I ever move to another house and the in-drawer block doesn't fit, but being able to store my knives in a drawer makes me happy beyond words!
This product looks like it's gonna be easy to clean. That's a big plus. As for the reviewer who complained about knives resting on rubber-coated metal posts, that doesn't appear to be the case with this product. My knives rest on wood dowels, and the entire unit appears to be made of wood. I don't see any rubber or metal anywhere.
Description of Wusthof 14-Slot In-Drawer Knife Organizer Tray, Oak
Wusthof 11-slot Indrawer Knife Tray will hold knives up to a 10 inches.This knife tray conveniently houses all kitchen cutlery in a drawer without occupying valuable counter space. Made of hardwood, the tray is a slim 7-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches high and fits within a drawer that is 16-3/4 inches deep. The 14 knife slots include space for eight steak knives or shorter knives with up to a 5-inch blade and six longer knives with up to a 10-inch blade or, alternately, a sharpening steel. The slots intersperse the longer knives between the shorter in what Wusthof refers to as a "wave" pattern, which makes knife handles easier to grasp and remove. Blades are completely covered in the slots to prevent against accidental cuts and to keep them from dulling. A felt backing underneath the tray keeps it from scratching kitchen drawers. --Cristina Vaamonde
