This product can be used alone but it is particularly handy when used with the rug stick .If you don't want to get out the heavy rug shampooer after your pet has had an accident, this is perfect and very effective. Once I bought the original kit, I was having a time trying to find replacement cans--as usual Amazon came to my rescue and got my order to me very quickly. Now if i could only find a way to stop my dog from leaving messages to let me know how she feels about being left alone----Customer Review: great for dogs

I had a coupon from Krogers, but my store never carried this item. After 6 months, I had the idea to try Amazon. There it was! If you have dogs who sometimes have accidents, i.e. throw up the book they ate, this is a great way to clean up and so easy.
