This is such a great idea. Most women I know love to save corks from those "special" bottles that were a part of landmark events....anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, etc. I couldn't believe it when my daughter sent me the link to this item on Amazon. It may look good on the site but it's really nice in person....I was especially pleased with the quality and the price. It's decorative enough to be on display in just about anyone's kitchen or bar area. I have several friends who I always give a bottle of wine to for Christmas.....this year, I'm going to slide the bottle in this before wrapping it. My friends will enjoy the bottle as usual and then have a wonderful little extra after the wine is gone.
