Customer Review: Nice addition to my food decorating

I've found this one works best when wanting to cover a large area with sugar or cocoa (like on a tiramisu) but when it comes to smaller things (like french toast, cookies, etc) which I would like to use a light and more precise amount, I choose a narrower dredge. This one puts out a generous amount of sugar/cocoa at a time which can be great if you like a lot of garnish.
I especially like that it has a cover to keep the contents from acquiring dust as well as keeps it pretty fresh. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of 5 is because I prefer metal dredges. Metal dredges usually have a handle (which appeals to me due to the classic kitchen item Granny used to have) and they also match well with the rest of my kitchen (which is mainly black and silver). I wish there were more color choices as well as material, so it gets a point taken off only due to aesthetics. As far as functionality, I recommend this item.
