This is comfortable to use, heavy duty and has a pretty shape -- the main reasons I purchased it. My 4 yr old granddaughter and I had no trouble releasing it with a clean edge as long as we remembered to brush the edges lightly with flour and wiggle (slide it back and forth slightly) before removing the cookie from the rolled out dough. Decorated with sparkly frosting (found in Joanne Fabric stores) they look amazing!Customer Review: great product

It seemed not even the other avid bakers had a snowflake cookie cutter so I bought up a few and am giving them as gifts. It's a perfect size and the results are great. I gave as an early gift to a friend who is very particular and she gave it her nod of approval. I am gifting it in a basket with some decorated snowflake cookies and a christmas apron. When I went to make cookies the first time I used this, I decided that "just because", I'd try the cookie recipe on the back of the cardboard this came on. And the cookies are SO great! They're the best we've had, so be sure to check it out :) And, the actual cutter itself works just fine.
