Summary: 4 Stars
When I use these strips, cake layers come out flat and even on top. Those domed cakes used to take a lot of pleasure out of baking. Now I bake about 2 cakes a month, and every single time, I'm thankful for this solution. It's true that you need to fasten these with a pin, and it's a pain in the neck. Maybe they'll figure out a way to use velcro or some other fastening method. But the plus side is that they're so simple that they'll last a long, long, time. Don't forget to completely wet them first!
