Customer Review: Disappointed with quality

I have always been completely satisfied with the Wilton products I've purchased previously. They are usually top quality in how they are manufactured and perform wonderfully. However, this springform pan was definitely not up to their normal quality and I was quite disappointed. The edges were rough and there was extra metal around the ridge. There were also two 'cut-out' grooves on the bottom-they likely serve some function, but I couldn't figure out what. This was bought as a gift for my mother, and when she took it out of the package she almost cut her fingers on the rough edges. It seemed likely that this pan would end up cutting fingers and snagging dishrags so I returned it. I will still reccommend Wilton products in general, but not this springform pan.
