I was disappointed in the actual item I received, not the content. I expected a softcover book and felt this was somewhere between a softcover book and a magazine, almost like a workbook I had in school. Also be aware of the return policy from the seller Action Packed, Inc. It is only 10 days. Look for something else... this book was recommended by the website to go along with a cake decorator kit I purchased. I paid $9 for it (plus shipping) and it is not worth it. It is a very thin booklet that maybe should have cost $3.99. I bought this for a gift, and feel too chintzy to actually give it.Customer Review: A must have for the novice

If you have never decorated then this is a must have book. It shows you how to make frosting, fill pastry bags, and talks about the decorating tips you will need. It is very easy to understand for someone who have never decorated a cake. This is the perfect book to get your decorating hands going.
