I received this cake pan for Christmas. As someone who bakes A LOT and has a young son, I was excited about using this pan for a different type of cake. I have tried 3 times now, and every time the cake sticks so bad that it will not un-mold. I have to pry the cake out, then it completely falls apart. Even with greasing & flouring every supposed non-stick nook & cranny. Today I tried one last time for my son's birthday cake to no avail. This pan will be going into the trash. Please don't waste your time or money.... I would give it ZERO stars if I could!!Customer Review: Couldn't get the darn cake out

While this is a super cute idea, I made the mistake of trying this pan for the first time to make my daughters b-day cake. Couldn't get it out. Ruined the whole thing. Also, you definitely need 2 boxes of cake batter or double your usual rccipe to make one cake.
The other bummer is that the bottom of the cupcake cooks much faster than the swirly top so you sort of over bake the bottom waiting for the other side to get done. Bummer. I really love the idea, just hard to execute on...and I didn't even get to the frosting.

This product made a bigger cake than I expected. It comes out VERY tall and is unique looking. I used mine to make 2 giant cupcakes each with one layer chocolate and one layer banana chocolate chip --all with chocolate buttercream icing. Additionally, I ended up with some leftover batter so I made some mini cupcakes to put around it on the plate.
The only caution is the thinner side (the top) has to be taken out of the oven earlier or it will burn.
Overall - really cool cake and perfect for tall decadent round cake.

I must say I was very excited to use this product after receiving it as a gift for Christmas. Every time that I've used it the cupcake has not come out of the pan no matter what I used to grease it or how much I greased it. And every single time I've attempted to assemble the blasted thing it would fall apart. Not to mention the cupcake wouldn't cook evenly and the lack of directions included with the pan. I've moved the pan to the attic until I can purchase some large cupcake wrappers. At least that might solve half of the problem.Customer Review: AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!

This is an awesome pan. I read the other reviews on here before I baked a cake. I used just one box of cake mix, I poured 3.5 cups of batter into the bottom part of the cupcake.. baked for 15 mins, removed the pan and added the remaining batter to the top and baked both for 30 mins... so the top received 45 mins bake time and the top only got 30. This worked PERFECT. i barely had to cut any excess off. This pan rocks! I have gotten so many compliments on it anytime I make it. Its a HUGE hit. I highly recommend this pan to anyone!
