This popcorn popper makes the BEST popcorn. We have been using it almost every day for the past 2 months and have never had a problem. All kernels pop and none have ever burned. Clean-up is easy. I use canola oil or olive oil, because it is healthier, and the taste is still great. Everyone in the family prefers the taste to microwave popcorn. My husband and I bought one of these at a home show a year ago and we love it. We make popcorn at least once a week with it. The sweet glazed popcorn (recipe included with popper) is the best kettle corn you'll find. I got this for Christmas and have used it almost every day since! My family loves the popcorn it makes; it is so much better than microwave. I have been a popcorn addict all of my life. This kitchen accessory is easy and quick to use, just as fast as microwave popcorn and tastes much better. Very easy to clean as well. We were introduced to this popper from our new neighbors in UT - Thanks Vances!!! We promptly bought one and have kissed microwave popcorn goodbye! Try some Tabasco in your butter before you spread it. All kernels pop and cleanup is easy. I've now given several as gifts - great gift idea!
