Customer Review: Read this, have realistic expectations and you'll be fine

I note this because I see a lot of different stars, from 1 to 5 stars and I think I know why: Unrealistic expectations.
If you want a powerful, very strong light, then go with an electric bulb. However, there are some areas where this isn't practical and it would be costly to put in the electrical wiring. Also, electric bulbs can get very hot.
That is when these battery-operated bulbs can be a MAJOR help. They don't get extremely hot, go up in minutes and (my favorite part) can be removed and carried around the house if the lights go out.
Having said that, you might need two of these in a closet if you want maximum lighting. We put on on the closet ceiling and under a shelf, giving us two layers of lighting. That worked fine.
If you have a walk-in closet, one of these bulbs isn't going to handle that amount of space and light it adequately. However, it can illuminate dark areas. Also works well in small coat closets, etc.
TO SUM UP: Keep your expectations realistic and you'll be fine. You'll save money on the cost of an electrician but you won't get the same illumination as an electric bulb. Still, if you can't even tell what color your clothes are because the closet is so dark, this should solve that problem.
