This slow cooker is the best I have ever used. It does cook different than a crock pot, ( this one is metal) and it takes a longer time warming up, yet cooks faster. It is just the right size for smaller portions, a big plus for only 1-4 people. The griddle part is a wonderful! I would highly recommend this product.Customer Review: Great Purchase

I have had this slow cooker for about 12 yrs now and it is wonderful. It cooks to perfection and is easy to clean. The lid can be used a a oven dish even.I use mine often for roast chicken and pot roast, A great product. This is my 3rd West Bend Slow Cooker over the last 20 years....really like it a lot...I purchased another type...programmable and all that stuff.....went back to my West Bend....much more versatile and cooks the food better. I had the old version of this slow cooker years ago, and have missed it ever since I gave it to a friend of mine. The wonderful thing is that you can brown your meat right in the cooker on your stove, and then add the remaining ingredients and continue to cook. This is truly one-pot cooking!
