I love that the stuff comes out of the bottom, it lets me clean up the crumbs right away instead of letting them get stuck in the toaster and crumb tray. I used to hate that tray and all the crumbs that got caught in the old toaster in the bottom and you could never get them all out. It is extremely fast on the very low settings. It matches my other stainless steel on my counter. The only bad thing is that some things do not fit all the way down in it, like eggo waffles. I have to put them back in and redo them so the tops get done. I used to have to do them twice anyway on my old toaster so I am used to that. I like the begal feature that turns the back off if you do not want the back of the begal toasted. It is kind of tall though, I have to pull it all the way out from under my cabinet so it does not heat up the cabinet above it while it is on. But that is ok.
