It's a can opener. Nothing fancy or special.
The handle is a bit funky/small. But OK once you get used to it. You have to lift up the lid magnet each time that you are going to open a can. Sometimes it rips the paper around the rim of the can.
Large cans can be a challenge to hold the can up with one hand and push the handle with the other hand.
Looks Great & Stylish
Nothing great, but also nothing too bad.

I'm so glad I read the reviews and bought this can opener. The main thing I wanted was for it to easily catch the can opener right when I put it to the edge and if it was quiet that would be great too. This does both and I'm very Happy! It is very sturdy and won't tip over. I got the silver one and it is also gorgeous on my counter. I looked at all the others and I'm delighted I choose this one. Over the years, I've always purchased the cheapest can opener available at Wal-Mart. But, I didn't know any better. The West Bend is the real deal. This can opener has a good weight and height, allowing you to easily open the large 32oz or 48oz cans that the cheaper can openers really struggle with. And you don't have to remove the label away from the track area. It just works; it opens cans with no hassle. What an idea.Customer Review: minimal knife sharpener

What amazes me about all of these 5 star reviews is that there is little warning that what is touted as a knife sharpener is truly minimal. If you are looking for a robust knife sharpener that works electrically with something like carborundam wheels and can handle serrated blades; this is not for you. Love it. Works great. The only drawback might be it's "stainless appearing." The price is right. The knife-sharpening feature it has is mind-boggling to me though. Looks like there are little, plastic thingys that are supposed to sharpen a knife. Think it does work but I don't see why. Maybe I'm too old for writing reviews now. I would buy it again. Clean cut opening w/o splashing me with the can's contents.
