I ordered this percolator because I was tired of making multiple pots of coffee at family gatherings. Now we can all have coffee, at the same time, without having various carafes with varying temperatures of coffee! From reading other reviews I wasn't sure wether it would be suitable for Shabbat or not (i.e keeping it running 24 hours over the sabbath). But after having used it for most of the year, almost every week, it works great. I recommend it as a Shabbat urn (i.e for up to 24 hours use straight).Customer Review: Great for large families

I purchased this for a large family gathering for Christmas. It makes great coffee and is easy to clean. It was easier than refilling a 10 cup maker over and over again. Heats up a full pot quickly and doesn't ever boil. I actually bought this to make spiced wine in during the winter months. Does an excellent job and is easy to serve out of with the front nozzle.
