We were given this as a gift many years ago & only use it a few times a year, but it has lasted at least 20 years & is still going. Now my daughter-in-law has requested it as a Christmas gift. I volunteered to seek out and purchase a replacement coffee pot for my workplace. There are 20 plus coffee drinkers and the water is hard, so we have gone through a few pots in the past. the West Bend pot we chose was an excellent choice and we are looking forward to many excellent cups in the future........

We tried and tried with this product, but every time we cleaned it out, the water was full of some oily resedue. We cleaned it as instructed, but it didn't work. I would stay away from this. If you are making coffee you mioght not notice the resedue, but if you just boil water it's clearly unclear and disgusting.Customer Review: 24-48 cups per day for several week. No problems

Iv'e been using this machine for several weeks now without complaint. There are quite a few coffee drinkers at work and the 12 cup machine couldn't keep up. This one does the trick. Cleaning is simple and brewing is quick. I believe the instructions state 1 minute per cup, but I know it is much faster than that.Customer Review: Easy to Use and Sturdy

We had a West Bend in our machine shop for over 5 years so once that one finally broke (the bottom plastic stand) we decided to replace it with a new West Bend. This coffee maker gets tons of use and is perfect because the guys in our shop are not delicate with it. It is very easy to use and clean.
