Coffee pot is well made, works perfectly and keeps coffee steaming hot. I received mine in a secure box that supported the four legs and positioned the pot so that the spout was in a corner, with ample room to prevent any damage during shipping. The cord is sort of short, about what you would use on a kitchen counter. I use it on a folding table at church events so I use an extension cord. Not a problem.
I highly recommend it.

We got this pot for a party we were having. It makes very good coffee, and you can't beat the price! Perfect for what we needed, and now we used it on Sunday mornings when we have a crowd for brunch instead of making multiple pots of coffee in a regular coffee maker. A great deal all around! You might be able to find a pot that makes more "gourmet" tasting coffee ~ but for the reasonable price tag, this one's hard to beat!Customer Review: West Bend Coffee maker

I bought this item for home use and found it to be reliable and easy to use. This is the second time I have purchased this item - the first was for an organization to which I belong. That first coffee urn gets weekly use and it has withstood lots of wear over the last year. We love out new Party Perk. I am not longer having to make only 12 cups of coffee!! YAY.. Now I make 30 cups we got our dailey supply! Well worth the money. This Party Perk is also easy to travel with. We do a lot of camping and this goes with us. If we do not feel like coffee then we fill it with water and heat it up and we can have hot tea or hot cocco..Customer Review: Perfect last minute purchase!

We purchased this item two days before an event and not only did we receive it in time, but the coffeemaker performed beautifully. I can't say enough positive things about it. It was very easy to use and coffee was ready much faster than we had anticipated. Although i'm not a coffee drinker myself, everyone commented on how perfect that cup of coffee was.
