I purchased this scale for light duty kitchen use and it worked great the dozen or so times I used it. Unfortunately, a problem then developed with the LCD display and only portions of the numbers would be visible rendering the scale useless.
"No problem", I thought - it has a great warranty so I'll just contact Weighmax and get it repaired or replaced. I was finally able to get a return authorization number from them (after a few emails and calls), and I returned the defective unit which they received on March 25. As of early June, I still have not received a repaired/replaced unit, even though on May 5 I was told I would received one "in a few days." I guess time will tell if I they ever honor their warranty.
Here's my bottom line: This is a really nice little scale for the money IF you are lucky enough to get one that doesn't go bad after a few months. Otherwise dealing with the warranty is a bit of a pain in the rear.
