Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Waring JEX328 Health Juice ExtractorCustomer Review: a waste of juice Summary: 1 Stars
The juicer does the job but wastes so much fruit and veggie juice. After juicing when I open the top I can squeeze the leftover pulp and there is sooo much juice in it still that didnt even get into the cup. Also large chunks of carrots and celery dont even get juiced you can see them in the pulp. This is not a good veggie juicer it seems to do better with citrus fruits. The top feeder is small so you have to cut all fruits into small pieces. Its alot of work to use this juicer!!! Also the inside blade is hard to clean and there are always chunks left on it no matter how long or how hard I scrub it. Please Try a different juicer... You get what you pay for in this case!!
Customer Review: Love this juicer Summary: 5 Stars
This is my first juicer, which I chose over other brands based on the customer reviews at this site. The juicer is easy to use and easy to clean. I've only juiced oranges. Today, I juiced 12 organic oranges resulting in 32 ounces. The juice was incredible. I opened the juicer for cleaning, expecting dried pulp but found the opposite. The pulp was full of juice. After failing to drain the juice from the pulp, I ran it back through the juicer -- four times -- resulting in another 14 ounces of juice. Having no prior experience with juicers, I have no idea if this is common or not. It was very little work to run the pulp back through so I have no complaint about this machine.
Customer Review: What a great juice machine for the money! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item (refurbished) for my wife, and she just loves it! It turns a few carrots into a glass of juice in seconds! Not just carrots tho' - but lots of other stuff too! (just use your imagination)! The clean-up isn't too bad either. It is a bit noisy, but no worse than any blender I've ever heard. You can use the leftover pulp, which is nicely captured, in soups and sauces, etc. I heartily recommend this item for those of you who want to juice, but can't afford those $199-$300 juicers! Don't be afraid of buying refurbished either - as you will save quite a few dollars and will end up with a really excellent product, backed with a limited warranty!
Customer Review: Looks great . . . but isn't. Summary: 1 Stars
I got sucked into buying this by its appearance of "industrial strength." It has been a big, big disappointment. Cleaning is easy on the non-rotating parts--just rinse them right after using. The mesh rotating thing is an entirely different matter. It's an absolute b*tch to get it clean, even right after juicing. Waring supplies a cleaning brush (another reason I bought this machine), but it is a joke. It's useless, repeat, USELESS, for cleaning the mesh. The only worthwhile thing about this juicer(?) is the stainless steel cup that comes with it, and that's not worth what the juicer costs. It's junk. Don't waste your money. Spend more and get better.
Customer Review: Easy to use and clean Summary: 5 Stars
This was actually a gift for our daughter and we could not go wrong. My daughter opened the box package and she assembled it pretty fast, she said. She tried with small veggies like carrots and celeries and she was pretty happy. She also tried one fruit, strawberry in one small glass to drink and very happy with the results. I also got this 55% off, so not only did we saved money, my daughter was pretty happy with the gift of this juicer. Cleaning this juicer was about 5 minutes for her. She's been looking and wanting for a juicer and cant find the right one with the right price, so my daughter thinks that this was a perfect gift for Christmas from us.
