Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Waring JEX328 Health Juice ExtractorCustomer Review: This is a great juicer Summary: 4 Stars
This is my first juicer. After quite a bit of research, I decided to go with this one. I've been using this juicer for about a month, and I am very pleased with it. I agree with one comment on using a toothbrush instead of the the brush they give you. It cleans the filter, and especially the teeth on the blade very well. It does leak out of the seam at the top a little, but I notice this happens when I am juicing cucumbers, bell peppers, or fruits with high liquid content. It doesn't leak when I juice carrots, spinach, ginger, and other things. Not a big deal. Overall, a great product. I use it almost every day. Very easy clean up. Looks great too. Definitely worth the price guys!
Customer Review: Great price and taste! Summary: 5 Stars
Got this product on Amazon new for around $45.00 -
I've very satisified with this purchase. This is my first juicer. I've used it for carrots and just about every other veggie, and it juices them well. The pulp comes out dry which basically means it's doing it's job well. The fruits and veggies taste delicious and the cleanup is easy. The juicer parts come out for easy for cleaning. It looks great on my countertop and I recommend this product to everyone.
To make 2 full glasses of carrot juice it takes about 2.5 pounds of carrots... takes about 10 mins to make the juice and clean it all up. It's fun and easy.
I rate this product a 5 of 5.
Customer Review: OK, if you don't juice greens Summary: 3 Stars
This is my first juicer, and it generally does OK with larger fruits and vegetables such as apples, carrots, beets, etc. But when it comes to juicing greens, all you'll get from 2 cups of spinach is a few drops of juice. It seems to leave an awful lot of pulp behind in general. To be clear, I am not the kind of person who expects a $50 product to do the work of a $150 item, so I'm not complaining too much; if I had to do it all over again, though, I would simply pony up the dough for a more expensive, better juicer. On the plus side, it is pretty quiet and easy to clean. Bottom line is if you can afford it, buy something more powerful that'll leave less pulp behind and yield more juice.
Customer Review: Great Juicer for the Money! Summary: 5 Stars
I'd been looking for a juicer but didn't want to pay hundreds...I LOVE this juicer! Some of the things that I have really liked... Stainless steel and black, so it doesn't show staining from things such as carrot juicing. Top rack dishwasher safe! I have found it very easy to clean. It rinses like a dream (although get a new sturdy brush, the one it comes with isn't the greatest). I've mostly been juicing Secret Sick Tea (1 whole lemon & lime--cut off most peels; and a large chunk of fresh ginger; mix w/12 oz hot water and honey to taste --it works miracles for colds). I don't peel the ginger and stick the lemon/lime in pith and all. I haven't been sorry about the purchase.
Customer Review: Great machine Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for a good juicer and after reading all the reviews I went to the store and bought it. I'm not disappointed! It's very easy to assemble and to use, it's not long to clean (it took me about 3 minutes top) and it's not wasting any juice (the pulp remaining is very dry). Also the stainless steel design is great, I leave the juicer on my counter. It's true that the machine is noisy but you don't use it very long and i'm sure it's normal for that kind of powerful juicer. It's not bothering me, I was expecting it (never heard a quiet juicer).
anyway, if you are searching for both a good looking and an efficient juicer, you should buy it, you won't regret it!
