Customer Review: Really helped, but make sure it's properly seated in your shoe.

I purchased these inserts after the podiatrist said I needed arch support to help me recover from a foot injury. I went to a specialty store and got $30 arch supports, but they didn't seem to do much. When I saw these at Target, I decided to try them since they cost less than $20. It took a couple of days to get used to, but then I could wear them without even noticing, and they've really helped improve my foot condition. When I wear them with athletic shoes, I take out the insole that comes in the shoes to allow enough room. When my work shoes don't allow enough room and I wear the inserts from the specialty store, my foot will often hurt at the end of the day, which doesn't happen when I wear the Walkfit inserts. One thing that will definitly improve wearing comfort is to be sure the insert is seated at the back of your shoe, then place your thumb along the side to hold it in place when you put your foot in. If the insert isn't aligned exactly under your arch, it's quite uncomfortable. Also, I have very high arches, but I only need the "low" insert on the Walkfits. I tried the medium insert, and even after the break-in period, it was too high for me.Customer Review: run from walkfit

I ordered from the company's website. They give no summary of order or shipping charges, endless "offers." I tried to cancel the order within minutes of placing it. When you place it, they tell you it could take a month to get it and push for more shipping charges.
I called and emailed customer service. Within 12 hours I had a name and confirmation that the order had been cancelled. in 3 weeks I received an email that it had been shipped a week before and charged to my account. This was ANOTHER order number.
That was more than 2 months ago. hours with customer service reps, a trip to the post office to return a package I never ordered and another hour to document my dispute of the charges on an order that I was assured had been cancelled several times and that I had been assured was refunded more than a month ago.
If you want to try these hard as boards things, go through a retailer who cares. My suggestion...run now before the real pain begins.

Hello, I must right this review because i notice negative feed back about this product, i was not going to purchase this product because of the reviews. So here we go, I am on my feet alot, my job is construction, I am developing flat feet and the pain on my feet affects my job, i'm tired, my back was hurting my muscle would ache every day when i arrived home, i spend more time recorperating from the aches, than doing others things that i wanted to do, this is my third day on the walk fit and i feel great i am not tired, my back doesnt hurt, and no aches, this means alot to me because i hurt my back a year ago, and i was afraid i would have that pain again. first day use the low it will feel uncomftable, then try the medium. If your feet hurt all the time i recommend this product, even if you have back aches, knee aches. I'm going to order more for all my boots and sneakers. I owned the original Phase 4 Orthotics and had them for about two years or so. They were really supportive and comfortable once broken in, but they did eventually need replacing. I was curious when I saw the new Walkfit model on TV and wondered if they were any better than the previous one. Let me tell you, they are SO much more comfortable than the original Phase 4 orthotics. What made this possible was the addition of three custom gel inserts for the arch. There are high, medium and low versions and you can switch to whichever one is most comfortable for you. They still recommend a break-in period for the orthotics, but I found them to be instantly comfortable once I figured out which insert felt best for me. I highly recommend these to just about anyone who can wear them. If you're looking for arch supports that actually support your feet and your whole body, these are the ones to buy.Customer Review: Every Claim By Walk Fit Is Fraudulent

Ordered WalkFit inserts for myself and my fiancee. Followed their instructions for about 10 days (3 days past their "break in" period). I couldn't wait to get them out of my shoes by the end of the day. Foot adjusted somewhat, but not that much. Same with my fiancee. Decided to return them.
Sent them back via UPS with deliver confirmation and signature. Walk Fit received them back in mid-September, 2005. No refund given as of yet. No returned emails or phone calls to customer service.
Bottom line: WalkFit doesn't live up to ANY of their statements, including their refund policy.
I should have known better at the time to buy something off of the TV, but I learned my lesson again.
