We had one that we bought a few years ago. As reported in other reviews, ours started smoking then caught fire (filter was cleaned regularly, btw). Pelonis nicely replaced the unit. Two weeks ago, the unit started smoking again and the one side was completely melted. Pelonis replaced it again, but I am hesitant to use it anymore.Customer Review: Great hetaer

I have had this heater for several years (more than 5 years). I use it in my office which has a concrete floor and is very cold. I have never had any problems at all with it. I really like the thermostat and the small size is fabulous!Customer Review: heater

This heater was very expensive, I have three of this manufacturers' heaters. This one is not the same quality as my older ones. The automatic shut off ,that is supposed to turn off the heater if it is knocked over ,does not work!
