I bought this and it is very handy. Don't spill a drop of wine. Strains out the loose cork and tannins that separate. Supposed to make it taste better but I always use it and I never tested if I can taste the difference.Customer Review: It makes a big difference

Up until now, I thought this type of thing was for the wine snobs, of which I am not. Even for those cheap $7 bottles of wine, this really does make a big difference in the taste of the wine. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: nice product

I used the funnel to help remove sediment from some 15 year old wine. While it didn't get everything it did get most of it. You still have to be careful when you pour.
I would recommend this funnel.
