We own a WMF Topstar set.
One handle broke off a couple of years ago, we contacted WMF and they replaced the casserole right away without asking a single question.
The same problem happened again recently (to another casserole in the set) but when we contacted WMF we were told to our surprise that their cookware only carries a 3-year warranty.
Apparently they've shorten their warranty because of the bad economy. We have no way to prove the Lifetime Warranty but we're sure the set came with one since it was the main reason we chose their products.
Buyer beware: WMF cookware does break and they do not honor the Lifetime Warranty. At least not anymore.

It's 8-1/2 inches in diameter, 3-1/2 inches high (without lid), and holds 2-1/2 quarts. Its two handles are shaped for comfortable, firm gripping. The stainless-steel lid fits snugly and has a flange that drops inside the pot's rim to hold in moisture and permit healthful, low-liquid cooking. The pot's broad rim facilitates dripless pouring.
