We use this item with our fondue set. It makes it easy to dip into the fondue pot and fill up everyones cup with chocolate or cheese. The spout on the side makes it all possible. The handle is great because it's comfortable and we can hang it up on our pot rack. Would be great with so many other occassions, be it soup or chili etc.
