Customer Review: Handle renders this item useless...

I read the reviews noting the unusually short handle on this item, but hoped the reviewers were exaggerating. They weren't. I can't grip the handle normally at all (and I don't have large hands); the only way for me to grip it is by pinching it with my thumb and three fingers (no room for my pinkie finger). It's pretty (tempting to give it a second star for this), but child sized. I would be embarrassed to hand it to someone to use. I almost never return anything (after the cost of shipping, we are talking about less than ten dollars), but I simply don't want this in my drawer. I can't believe whoever designed this thinks the handle makes sense. I recently purchased all new WMF items for kitchen and would love for this to have worked, but it just doesn't. Don't be like me and decide to learn the hard way!
