Summary: 5 Stars All I can say is that the product does what it is supposed to do, and well. Picked the sharpener up at the mall kitchen store, the Amazon price is about $2 cheaper than their retail. Brought it home, popped it out of the consumer friendly packaging, read the panel of instructions and went to it. My block of knives is as sharp or sharper than they have ever been. They're just typical WallyWorld knives, nothing special, but not the cheapest either. We do have one nice stainless monster that we bought from a friend's restaurant supply store that is scary sharp (at least it used to be). After a dozen passes across the carbide blades you could see a little pile of metal shavings, this thing was working that edge right now. Switch to the ceramic touch up slot and they were as sharp as I'd ever want a knife to be. I even used the scissor slot and was actually surprised at how well they cut today. I'd forgotten about the sharpening yesterday and was actually caught off guard at how well they snipped through a FedEx bag today. Good purchase.
