Love it 100 percent! Small and compact, works like a charm! They have other versions of aerators out there, but they take up more space. Be sure to not cover the tiny air holes on the sides with your fingers while pouring wine - a friend of mine was doing by mistake and kept wondering why it wasn't making the funny slurping noise that it's suppose to make....:) This aerator makes my red wines taste so "alive" and is so much more smoother, wish I had gotten one earlier. It was a Christmas present from myself - to myself....Got it at a special low price and now the price has gone up. Club Bevmo sells them for for so much more! Purchased this for my girlfriend for Christmas - for our first try, she called me into the room and had two glasses of wine waiting and asked me to see if I could tell the difference. From the very first smell, it was IMMEDIATELY clear which glass of wine was superior due to aeration. We used a bottle of Turning Leaf Pinot Noir for this first sampling. The taste was much more enjoyable, and the acidity of the aerated glass was nill compared to the non-aerated glass. As we've been using the product for just a few minutes now, this won't be a very detailed review - I just want to say this absolutely makes a better glass of wine. This device works! The Vinturi exhibits a peculiar hissing noise as wine is aerated while passing through on the way to the exit hole. Upon hitting the glass the wine has some foam/bubbles on the surface which quickly dissipate. We have used Vinturi on wines in the 8-20 dollar range and each one has benefitted from the aeration process.
The wines are immediately smoother and fuller in taste.
Realize you must place the device in the holder between uses as it will slowly release a few drops of wine (through the side holes and the bottom exit hole) after each use. I/we don't consider this a drawback, merely part of the process and well worth it.
We are so pleased with this item that we've given it as gifts.

While wine-tasting in Solvang, a wine tasting room used this aerator on a glass of wine. We were able to try a before and after tasting. I was so impressed that I needed to buy it. Months later and I've finally gotten around to it. I bought the cheapest wine I could find. A bottle of Charles Shaw Cab or "2-buck Chuck" as it is known in some circles. I also did a before and after. The "after" was amazing. I've never tasted wine like that straight from the bottle before. The acidity was gone and it became smoother, fruitier. It was amazing. Can you imagine what it can do for a more expensive bottle of wine? I love my brand new aerator! Definitely a great buy and a great gift for the winos in your family.Customer Review: We love it!

My girlfriend loves it! I tried it with her and it definitely changes the experience of the wine!
We are not super sommeliers or anything, but we enjoyed it and I was very surprised at the difference. We do tend to get cheaper wines, and we liked them that much more thanks to this toy.
The stand is elegant. Very convenient and keeps the wine off the counter top.
The one thing we found is that you really have to pour at a fair pace to get it to "kick in". When we first tried less than half a glass, it didn't really work correctly. Pouring a full glass through it made a more definitive sucking sound and it was very easy to taste the difference.
