The Basket design exemplifies Villeroy & Boch's trendsetting style. Introduced more than 30 years ago, it was designed by Helen von Boch, a descendant of the china company's founders. It is now a classic and signature pattern of the 255 -year-old brand as well as of the nouvelle cuisine chefs, who in the 80's favored it for the artful way it frames food.

Country casual and sophistication blend in Basket, a long-time Villeroy & Boch favorite. The pattern bears the design sensibility of Helen von Boch, a descendant of the company's founders. The six small 5-ounce cups in this set each measure 2-3/8 inches in height and are vitrified for durability, making them safe for dishwasher and microwave.

Each cup features Basket's green diagonally-woven trellis along with two garden baskets overflowing with ripe fruit. A thin line of mustard yellow circles the rim and accents the one-finger handle.
