I've had this panini press for 6 months now, and use it at least twice a week. Works extremely well, as advertised. Easy to clean, and stores well, too. It gets verry hot unlike some countertop grills on the market steam the meat. Crispy well marked dinner and lunch entree's. Non-stick coating still shows no indication of wear. This grill looks snazzy too! Makes super panini; the recipes enclosed, (of which I've used 2) are a great guide to the world of hot pressed sandwiches. Order this panini press and then find a good deli or specialty grocery and stock up on asiago, parmasean, fontina cheeses; mortadella, proscuitto, salami meats; some pesto, olive tapinade, a little fresh baby arugala and a loaf of sliced artisan bread and when the grill arrives you can have great food on the table in less than 15 minutes. We like to make three or four combinations and then cut them in half to share the multiple flavors. Finish with some Nutella spread on crust trimmed bread and you even have dessert.Customer Review: Even better than anticipated

I purchased the Villaware after researching quite a few Panini grills...and boy did I choose wisely. I am a novice in the kitchen, but I am happy to report that my grilled sandwiches have received a handful of rave reviews. I now use it at least twice a week.
One caveat, the black metal piece on the back portion of the grill, really does get HOT! Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. Final verdict: So far this Villaware Panini Grill is the smartest appliance purchase, I've made this year.

I have used this grill several times now, and am very satisfied with it. Makes wonderful sandwiches, have also used it to grill chicken thighs and lamb burgers. You have to learn what temp to use for grilling anything beside sandwiches. The grill is very easy to clean and the grease catching tray works very well. The bottom of the grill seams to get hotter than the top, so be sure to grill skin on chicken skin side up! I am looking forward to using the grill to cook other foods that are good grilled!Customer Review: Just GREAT!

Wow - I love this machine! I have a Villaware Wafflemaker that was/is so good, I have given the same item as a gift 6x. I was hoping this ProPress Panini Grill would be equally good - and it is. Grills nicely, supereasy to use and, best of all - VERY EASY TO CLEAN! What is the point in having gadgets if they don't work efficiently or are too cumbersome to use, and a bear to clean? I have made panini, grilled all sorts of meats and fish and everything comes out perfect. Highly recommend!
