Customer Review: Inferior Quality

This pasta machine didn't last one batch of pasta. The gears slipped within the first few cranks. Things just deteriorated from there. Sending it back. Pasta is really cheap at the store the point of this machine is not to save money, it is to have fresh pasta and a superior meal. I believe I will spring for the more expensive machine.

Villaware Al Dente Pasta Machine is great for individual or family use. It is a great functional pasta machine at a value price with many optional attachments. Dough Roller unit is 6 inches wide perfect for making lasagna noodles!Looking to impress that special someone in your life? What better way than with homemade pasta. The Al Dente pasta machine, made of heavyweight chrome steel, is great for rolling dough and has a double-sided, 6-inch-wide blade for cutting spaghetti or fettuccine. The steel rollers are adjustable for kneading and there are seven thickness settings to accommodate individual preferences. Its manually controlled crank offers exceptional control, and a removable cutter head makes cleanup simple, while measuring only 6 inches wide--so you won't have to give up much counter space. The only drawback is that after tasting fresh, homemade pasta, it's hard to go back to the packaged kind.
This easy-to-use pasta machine provides a great way to enjoy pasta just like they do in Italy.
