Without each other knowing it, I bought this one for my husband for Christmas and he brought me another French Cookie maker but a different brand name. I must say that when we baked side by side, even though the one he bought was exactly like his mom's, I LOVED the pattern of this one. It was easy to use and we each followed family recipe but I loved the larger cookie this one produced. Great buy!!!Customer Review: A great product

We have had our pizzelle maker for a long time and bought this one for a friend. They have streamlined the whole machine so it sits even nicer on your kitchen counter and the pizzelles that it makes are great. We're hooked..my husband even gets in on the fun...maple walnut, anissette, chocolate or almond..they're all good and never seem to last too long before they're all eaten up!Customer Review: Great Cookies!

Just like using a waffle maker, once you make a few trial samples youll have making Pizzelles down. Its not that hard as some made it sound. Shut it, lock it, and check after about 30 seconds if its not golden shut and cook a few more. I used a second timer and in 40 seconds they were perfect. It has a recipe book inside too. I had never heard of pizzelles before, but I needed one to give to my Dad for Christmas (It was what he wanted!) I did my homework and searched throughout the internet for one. The best buy could be had at Amazon! I ordered it and now my Dad makes them almost daily! The maker is easy to use and its non-stick surface makes it a breeze. I have found the perfect pizzelle maker. I am a beginner at making pizzelles and after just a few attempts I was making them perfectly with this machine. Awesome buy! They don't stick to the baker and the traditional recipe that comes in the book works perfectly. I do recommend adding double the amount of vanilla if you choose not to add the anise.
