After seeing this on TV I figured it was worth buying.
After working with it on both bell peppers and onions, I've decided the producers of the TV commercial did either or both of these:
(1) used semi-rotten vegetables that were soft and easily processed so it appeared easy to use.
(2) Put painted glue-on fingernails on a male weightlifter to make the demo appear easy.
To be fair, it worked ok, but I did have to slice the bell peppers and onions in quarter pieces to get it to process them (which sort of defeats the purpose).

Once I figured out how to cut the onions and how much to put in the tray I must tell you I was amazed. It cut each onion perfectly and didn't turn it to mush as I thought it would. I now use it not only for the onions but for the celery, bell pepper, green onions, and pickles I have reduced my time preparing the chicken salad by 30 minutes. I just love it and I have told everyone I know about it. One thing is you have to figure out which blade is best for each veggie once you do it is the greatest little gadget. I am now buying one for my home and for a few of my friendsCustomer Review: Great product

I'm very skeptical of food choppers. Most are clumsy to use, difficult to clean and come with too many parts - I would usually find it easier to chop by hand rather than go through all the fuss. This product is one that works. Chopping is easy, clean-up is simple - I can just grab the thing and have the items chopped in a couple of minutes. I agree that it's better to quarter an onion rather than just cut it in half as the instructions suggest. I highly recommend this product. It's one "As Seen on TV" item that really works, is durable and a breeze to clean.Customer Review: Crying over my onions!

I just spent the past half hour crying while chopping my onions by hand. Why is that you may ask? Because I ordered this darn product A MONTH AGO and it STILL HASN'T SHOWN UP!!! If you choose to buy this product definately don't get it from the "offical site". I called the number provided twice and was given 2 different dates that this wonderful product supposedly shipped. I read some other reviews that had the same complaint. I'm already not happy due to this fiasco. I'm always leary of TV-promoted products, but decided to try this one. This gadget has revolutionized by attitude toward cooking because it is so effective. It perfectly chops everythng I've used it for and is especially good for tomatoes and onions, as well as many other fruits and veggies. Now I keep two containers of the chopped onions in the regrig--one in each size--to quickly use in recipes. And you'll never cry again when chopping onions. Don't be afraid of this. I've had none of the trouble a few other people have mentioned. You'll love it.
