I just got this knife and so far it is great. I like the weight balance and size of the knife. It makes carving very easy. Also the blade is extremely sharp. I looked into this because the show "American Test Kitchen" recommended it for functionality and price.Customer Review: Thin edge

This knife has such a fine edge that I had to modify my sharpening technique. You cannot be too aggressive when sharpening or you will curl the edge over.
This does a fine job on pot roast, which is difficult to cut because it is so soft.

Wow is all I can say. I bought this because it was the winner with Cook's Illustrated. Now I see why. Only wish I would have had it sooner! Clean slices like you wouldn't believe! It's a marvel.

There is no better carving knife that even comes close.

Excellent knife. Used it to slice Prime Rib for Xmas. Sharp, easy to handle. Size is just right to handle large work. Used it to slice ham for Sunday breakfast, also worked very well. Looking forward to see long term use and sharpness.
