This product was pretty easy to use and cut the pineapple into a long spiral which was easy to cut into bite size pieces for serving. The counter was too high to use it effectively because I am only 5 foot tall and you do need to be able to use a downward pressure. Moving everything to the kitchen table solved that. There was a lot of juice created, maybe because my pineapple was pretty ripe, so put it inside a bowl when you cut it and you won't have a mess to clean up! And you will have some yummy fresh pineapple juice to add to your orange juice or what ever you want to do with it.Customer Review: Awesome!

This ranks as my top kitchen gadget purchase ever! The three different size slicers make it easy to slice any size pineapple, and it leaves the outside intact... making a great fruit dish for entertaining.Plus, you don't lose all that yummy pineapple juice on your cutting board. When the pineapple is removed, the extra juice remains inside and you can enjoy a small cup of fresh pineapple juice in addition to the perfectly cut pineapple rings.
I would highly recommend this product. I use it frequently, and with the time I've saved, it's easily been worth the modest price.

There isn't a whole lot to say about this other than it works great! It has three size attachments for small, medium, and large pineapples. I can' basically gut a pineapple with this in under 30 seconds.
Here's how it works, you cut off the top of the pineapple with a knife, place the device in the center so it doesn't cut into the core and then start twisting it while pushing down. Once you hit the bottom, give it a few tugs and the pineapple slices comes out.
Cleanup is pretty easy too, I just wash mine in hot soapy water and that does the trick.

I was considering the stainless version of this item but after talking to people who have actually used this one professionally in their restaurant I chose this one. I am so glad I did! The three sizes of blades is most valuable as there is little waste this way and I found that alot of the pineapples I find on sale are of the smaller variety and the larger blade would not work at all. The price at Amazon is super too compared to any of the kichen stores I've searched in. I couldn't find it anywhere else so if you are considering this one GO FOR IT! It seems way too simple and easy to be this good! Size up the pineapple and select the slicer blade and WOW! I don't have to pay the grocery stores to slice my pineapple any more! My knife techniques are very good, but for the time and effort, you absolutely can not beat this wonderful gizmo! With the "three different sizes" option of slicer selections, I don't feel as if I am wasting fruit. Fresh pineapple is best for enzymes and with this gadget, you can have your enzymes AND pineapple and eat it too! No hassle! It is so very simple, even a Democrat can use it!
