This is an awesome product! We purchased one for ourselves when we first moved to Hawaii and have really enjoyed it! Many friends and family have also purchased one after using ours. It removes and slices the pineapple without getting any of the little eyes or core. We sometimes remove the remaining core and use the pineapple shell as a server for the cut pineapple or drinks. I recommend the one with the set of 3 attachments. We use the medium the most, but it is nice to have the small and large attachment when needed for different size pineapples. If you buy fresh pineapple, it's definitely worth the price! Also a good hostess gift idea along with a fresh pineapple.Customer Review: No more waste

I have always shyed away from buying fresh Pineapple because of the mess and waste of cutting one up. This Thanksgiving we got one as a gift and I cut it up. Everyone raved about how great it was and how it is so much better than canned Pineapple. We started buying fresh ones but I felt like we were wasting so much of it. I saw this on here and read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. This thing is an amazing invention! A few twist's and a quick yank and out comes all the fruit and leaves everything you don't want still intact with the shell of the Pineapple. My wife and I have used this product about 20 times so far. It works perfectly. Some of these reviews had me nervous that the product was going to take a lot of strength. But ours came in the mail, and we used it with zero problems. It works and takes no strength. When pulling the sliced pineapple out of the shell, I have to jiggle back and forth for a few seconds until it all breaks free, but then it pops out with no problem. If you like pineapple, but can't stand the mess and time it takes to slice, buy this product. In under a minute, I have sliced an entire pineapple and am able to use the shell for nice presentation at parties.Customer Review: The answer to getting fresh pineapple

This device works fantastic for coring pineapple. It is easy to use and slices great time after time. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the pull handle's design flaw. Coring goes very smooth. When it comes time to pull out the meat of the pineapple, the pull handle's release pins (contained within the pull handle) cannot take the pulling force and releases on it's own and I have to put the handle back in place pull after pull. Maybe this is just with my corer. I have since found a work around which works great. Still, for the money you can't beat this corer. I highly recommend it. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well the pineapple slicer/corer worked. All 3 blades have the same core size but each blade is progressively larger for the slice size. I think the largest sized one will be the most used one. It was quick and easy work with this product. All the juice remained in the pineapple shell (making for lots of yummy juice to be poured out for drinking). There is no mess either. I know that I'll never cut my pineapples with a knife again! I found it easiest to place the pineapple in my sink (so that it was lower) while twisting the handle. It gave me more leverage and made the going easier.
