I have been looking for a foil cutter that works well and doesn't break for a long time. I've used the Screwpull ones for years. They are OK; but they always break within about 2-3 years; the pins pop out. I've tried lots of other cutters with even worse results.
This cutter works like a charm, accomodates larger bottles better than the others out there (because of the spring mechanism), keeps an edge on the cutting wheels, and most importantly, doesn't break. It also stores neatly in a holder that attaches to the fridge by magnets -- you never have to search in the drawer for it. This machine rules. We go through a lot of wine at our house (I'll not incriminate myself with numbers!)
Forget all the others, this is the best and at a great price. Enjoy and: A votre sante!
