I purchased my house almost 2 years ago, my dog is house broken but sometime I am at work he does have an accident and is sick on occasion. When I purchase the house it had new carpet and hardwoods underneath.. I do have a 3 year old lab which is house broken--
My goal is/was to save up and get the hard wood re fished, because I do not have the money right now--
I was puppy sitting a friend almost a year ago and it was NOT house broken.. I followed it around the house cleaning up and using pee pads for 2 weeks. My dog being a male decided to go around and pee on top of it so it was an endless cycle. I keep it in my spare bedroom at my house.. The carpet that I have does not show stains etc.. but I began smelling a foul smell from the spare bedroom.. First I rented a rug Dr after puppy sitting and cleaned it.. Then a couple months -- the oder was still kind of noticable so I ended up buying carpet cleaner for the whole house.. I purchase a brissell pro-heat 2x which is a good carpet cleaner... removed stains from the living room etc..
Then this month I noticed the smell again I was like really I have done EVERYTHING.. I am going to have to remove the carpet, but do not have the money right now...Well I looked online and found that a black light will SHOW up dog URINE so I was at my ENDS with the smell..most people would have never noticed it but I have bad allergies and smell like pee poop give me upper repository problems. I purchased this and a black light and went to town on the bed room.. The SMELL is gone and I went back over with the black light and it was not THERE.. The product has no harsh smell or chemical...That is one reason I HATE CARPET cleaning PRODUCTS BECAUSE THE AWFUL SMELL and i am allergic to most.. THIS IS Wonderful and safe.. for kids and pets....I am buying some more and going to recommend it to everyone with a pet!!!
