A chef friend first told me about this mill. I was watching her use it and I couldn't believe how well it ground salt - it didn't clog up like other salt shakers and salt grinders. She said the company makes the best salt and pepper grinders on the market and it's true. It comes with a tray to sit on, but I don't use it. I appreciate a product that does what it says it will do. I buy my coarse sea salt in my local supermarket, it's as good as the expensive stuff and a lot cheaper.
Description of Unicorn Magnum Salt Mill - (White)
This is the salt mill version of the Magnum, with a fast grinding, long wearing, non corroding ceramic grinding mechanism. Quick loading, large storage, extraordinary range of grind size. A serving tray is included to help contain salt dust. 6" high in white for salt. White, with ceramic grinding mechanism. Be sure to use dry, brittle salt with a grain size no larger than a peppercorn. Wet or damp salt will not grind.Salt & Pepper
