I got this scale well over a year ago. I use it like crazy for cooking and as a postal scale when necessary. I started baking bread and converting cups of flour into grams of flour, which is considered much more accurate. I also weighed produce from my garden last summer to calculate yield.
My only problem with the scale is the small size and not being able to see the digital display when weighing items in a bowl. The scale can weigh up to 11 lbs. of whatever you put on it, and I'm not sure how many 11 lb. things fit quite so easily on such a small surface without covering up some of the display or hanging over the sides. I ended up using glasses to weigh carrots standing upright. It was easy enough to tare the weight of the glass or a bowl before weighing the actual produce.
Overall I am very happy with this product. The battery has lasted a long time, and the product has held up very well. There are not too many things that are made these days that are reasonably priced and last a long time. I think this scale is one of those things.
