Title pretty much sums it up. I purchased this set for two newly purchased knives:
1. R.H. Forschner Victorinox Santoku, 7"
2. Chicago Cutlery Fillet knife, 7.5"
The 8" Chef's Saver fits my Santoku like a glove. The 8" Carver Saver requires a noticeable amount of effort to seat the blade properly in the cover. If the knives you are intending to use these Savers for are wider than normal, you may have some difficulty seating them. If they are slim like the Santoku I have, this Saver set is perfect.
PROS:
1. Designed to fit almost any type of knife that you own; based on length.
CONS:
1. I wish the plastic would have been a bit more flexible.

I bought two of the 4 set knife sleeve sets for all my knives I like to sharpen frequently. I keep them all together in a drawer because it saves on space and creates less clutter (with a knife holder)on the counter top. I chose this particular company after having read reviews of a similar competitor company which was rated as having terrible customer service and lots of problems with contacting anyone. Everything from Ultimate Edge arrived in short order and was exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have a set a Wusthof knives that we do not use everyday and are stored in a drawer. These sleeves fit all of my knives snuggly and securely..that includes the long slicing knife, bread knife and cooks knife. We often rent beach houses in the summer and pack these knives along as I am fussy about cooking with sharp knives. I purchased these to cover the blades of my Global kitchen knives. The plastic is sturdy and the covers slip snugly over the blades, allowing me to put my razor-sharp Globals in the drawer without ever worrying about injury. I have a knife cover from a different company that is of a slightly more substantial plastic, but that single large knife cover was $4.50, which makes this comparable set a terrific deal.Customer Review: Good enough

All I really wanted was a knifeguard for a couple of small paring knifes that I take on the road. This set was the best thing I could find. I don't really use the bigger ones, but guess they could come in handy some day. I wish somebody would make smaller ones and sell them individually. It is nice to be able to throw a knife into your bag and know that it won't tear through something or cut someone.
