We just wanted connectivity between the LG shine and our PC via USB. Should've been simple. However, our wireless company wanted $30.00 for a USB cable. I knew there was a better way.
The cable worked right out of the box. The trick here is you need to change your USB connection settings on your phone if you want to transfer mp3 or picture files. On the LG Shine, we changed it to "Mass Storage" and then our PC treated the phone just like an external drive.

Hi,
I received the order after waiting long.
When opened and saw the order I see that the charger is not in good condition.
The plastic hold near the charger pin has totally come out and I am not able to charge.
I am really frustrated to see this.
I request Amazon please don't put such type of worst orders in future.
I will think that I have lost money.

Cable works, the included software DOES NOT work with the CU515 unless maybe there is some kind of way to install a different driver first (which I tried) and have the included software recognize it (which i tried) but I couldn't get anything to work.
BitPim also doesn't not work fully with this phone.
The cable does work and this is cheaper than most places I looked.

Price at retail stores was $20 for the same things. Other reviews mentioned something about software. No software came with ours but it is not needed. Just plug it in and use it. It arrived earlier than promised which was a bonus as I ordered near Christmas. I don't know how they make any money selling them this inexpensively. I searched for a long time on how to play with my phone and I thought the bluetooth is enough, later I found out, you will not get the complete access to your phone via bluetooth, so you need more.
Then came this cable and BitPim (software), you can make wonders with your phone. This is an ideal usb cable instead of the expensive cable from the LG itself.
